Working Families - The Independent Voice for New York's Working Families
We're Hiring!

This is the most exciting and important political project in the US. It goes against the grain of conventional politics in what is a media-dominated, money-drenched era. This is about not being cynical.

The Working Families Party was formed by 25 labor unions and thousands of individuals who believe that New York State should belong to all the people-not just the wealthy and well-connected. The WFP is an independent, multi-racial progressive political alliance working through elections and legislative campaigns to advance the work of trade unions and community organizations.

The Working Families Party runs grassroots campaigns to elect progressive candidates and fights for living-wage jobs, better schools and campaign finance reform. The Working Families Party combines a practical electoral strategy with an unapologetic focus on issues of economic justice, democratic political reform, environmental and community protection, and investment in education and children. This organization consists of hardworking, dedicated people who think we can and must do much more to make New York a decent and humane place to live and work.

The Working Families Party is an affirmative action, equal opportunity employer. Women and people of color are strongly encouraged to apply.
