Corey Ellis = Change Comes to Albany

Corey Ellis

We sent out this message to our folks in Albany today, from Karen Scharff, our Capital Region Co-Chair.

Is Albany on the verge of a change for the better? We certainly think so. Corey Ellis, the Working Families Party endorsed candidate for mayor, has Jerry Jennings on the run. Our organizers and supporters have been making phone calls, knocking on doors and contributing to make the ‘Jennings era’ a thing of the past. The lies, corruption, greed and blatant disregard for regular citizens needs to go.

And it will – with your continued support. With only two weeks left until Primary Day, all of us need to pitch in together to make sure that the community candidate wins. It’s not enough to show our anger at the increase in crime, misuse of taxpayer dollars and the shenanigans in the police department.

Corey has done his part. He started as an organizer, got himself elected to Common Council and built an impressive coalition for change in Albany. Now he needs you: your time, your money, and your vote. If it’s your first time volunteering for a candidate or or if you done it a hundred times – the campaign needs you to step up.

Together, we can do it!

Visit Corey’s website to sign up for email updates, to volunteer on the campaign and to make your donation.

It’s been a long time since Albany had a new mayor. After 16 long years of politics as usual, let’s do everything we can to win back our city. Albany can be better. If we make it happen.
