Wynette, I'd suggest you call your congressional rep right away. Tell them to move the house bill bill right now for a floor vote. It's game time and the House is a battleground. They need to pass their bill - which is really good - before they go for their august vacations. Without that, our chances of winning good reform will diminish. Also, if you are represented by one of the above five, call them over and over again and go to their office too if you have the time.

There are people without health insurance as we speak. There are people who have lost health insurance due to lay offs. Cobra insurance coverage is astronomically high and unaffordable. Even people who are covered by insurance through work have subpar (i.e. awful) coverage at best.
We hear of people not seeking needed health care or people going bankrupt in order to pay for medical care. How about those insurance companies that deny people with pre existing conditions or denying people life saving procedures because they cost too much?
Stop bowing down to healht insuranse and big Pharma lobbyist who care about the almighty dollar and not about people. Let's get a public option passed now.

The people have waited long enough!
How much time is needed to assist the many who are undone by medical costs.

Yes, I am insured but my premiums continue to increase and why is it that a clerk must give my doctor permission to provide me with needed medical service?

Please think about the many who have no physcian?
Are we not a caring nation? Or what?
